1906 The Primary School. Photograph taken by the Director of Education of the time. The entrance in the photograph was for the boys; the entrance for the girls was at the other side of the building.

May 18 1894 Mr Arthur Howitt took photographs of the children. John H Whitehead was Master, the Mistress was Mrs Elizabeth Howitt and Rhoda Kirby, Sarah Chadbon and Mary Howitt were working at the school.
